The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl Disaster recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Topographical-Geodesic and Cartographic Activity" as a Basis

The Bill (Reg. No.3621) enhances legislation in the field of topographical-geodesic and cartographic activity, satisfies governmental and other needs in geodesic and cartographic production, use of modern geodesic systems of observation geospatial data and geoinformation systems.

Thus, the Bill extends the authorities of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and other central executive bodies in the said field.
